Little Dragons

Welcome to Little Dragons Kickboxing Club. Little Dragons Kickboxing Club is especially aimed for kids between the ages of 5 and 14 years old. It was founded by Matt Ogden in July 2001. When kids pass the age of 14 they will become members of Matts mothers' club, Blackdragon Blitzers, which was founded by Rita Ogden in August 1998 and currently has around 100 members. All of these students started without knowledge of martial arts when they joined Little Dragons. Blackdragon Blitzers has had numerous successes in world and international championship competitions.

Matt has been training since he was 4 and from the age of 8 he has trained at least 5 times a week every week to achieve his amazing titles. He has been an instructor since the age of 12 teaching adults and kids in martial arts. He is a 2nd Dan Blackbelt in Wado Ryu Karate and a 4th Dan Blackbelt in Hop Kuin Do Kickboxing, he also holds the Full Contact English Title. Through his hard work and dedication he has gained many British and European titles but the most prestigious must be his 3 world champion titles which he achieved in Sicily in November 2000 whilst representing Great Britain. This just shows what can be achieved.

Matt has been an inspiration to children and adults alike, but the children especially look up to him and he encourages them however he can. We believe that kids must enjoy their training and we try to make it fun as well as disciplined and teaching respect. That way they will stick to their training and are more likely to reach the Blackbelt grade whilst achieving levels of fitness, self defence and martial arts abilites. Matt will train students to their own capabilities whether it is working through their gradings or striving to reach competition standards. The choice is yours.
